Mountain Fresh Top Chef Challenge 2008
Help us decide who is top dog in the kitchen!! Hotham's Mountain Chefs are competing for the prestigious title of Mountain Fresh Chef 2008. Our Chefs have created a Mountain Fresh dish using local produce and we invite you to be the judge.
All you need to do is visit participating venues, order their Mountain Fresh Dish and complete the critique sheet. All critics will be entered into the Mountain Fresh prize draw.

All aboard SS Cilantro – experience food styles from the Mediterranean across 6 days of the festival. Cilantro will feature one tapas/mezze dish using alpine valley produce matched with one alpine valley wine. Join Alpine Style magazine and 5 Star Adventure Tours for a gourmet road trip from Hotham to Dinner Plain, savouring the food and wines of the Alpine Valleys. Take an easy ride in the 5 Star 4WD, enjoying a four course lunch with matching wines at mountain huts between Hotham and DP. Cost includes lunch with wine, transport and Alpine Style magazine subscription. Meeting place will be confirmed upon booking. Ma ximum 33 participants, $55 per person. Bookings essential.

Taste Alpine at Hotham Central |
A must do during the festival, this event is a comprehensive tasting tour through the wines and produce of the magnificent Alpine Valleys Wine region. With all the participating wineries and food producers in one room, you can sample your way around the region and meet some of the passionate winemakers and food producers from these pristine mountain valleys.
